Chapter 96 The Technology Exhibition Adventure
Upon hearing his words, Nathan couldn’t resist the urge to glance down at the little boy, gently pinching his soft check and remarking, “How did you become such a good boy?”
“Mommy is always busy with work, so I try to stay by her side and not bother her,” Liam replied with a
smile.
“Daddy must be busy too, but if you give me a computer or a tablet, I can keep myself occupied,” he added.
Nathan couldn’t help but feel a warmth tinged with a hint of sadness in his heart.
At such a young age, Liam was remarkably understanding.
“Today, Daddy’s schedule is all yours. Wherever you want to go, we’ll go. No work for Daddy today!” Nathan said, gently tousling Liam’s hair with a pang of tenderness. “Just to be with you, okay?”
“Really?” Liam exclaimed, his eyes lighting up. “Then… can we go to the technology exhibition?”
Liam pulled out his phone, displaying the page he had researched earlier. With a few taps, he proudly announced, “I’ve already looked into it. There’s a technology exhibition at the International Exhibition Center, and we can take Emberfall’s East Road for the quickest route!”
A smile spread across Nathan’s face.
Which child doesn’t enjoy playing? It’s just that he’s exceptionally obedient and understanding.

As Nathan reminisced about Olivia, his gaze grew solemn. He nodded and affirmed, “Alright, everything is up to you today!”
Determined, Nathan stepped on the gas pedal, propelling them towards the International Exhibition Center.

The exhibits captivated Nathan and Liam, from towering giant robots to sleek airplanes and even a space experience hall filled with cutting–edge devices.
Nathan purchased tickets and led Liam inside, where the young boy’s excitement knew no bounds.
With each exhibit they explored, Liam’s excitement grew palpable, his curiosity seemingly endless as he delved deeper into the world of technology.
After traversing the hall for twenty minutes, they came across a model spaceship, prompting Liam to inquire softly, “Daddy, can I ride this?”
Observing the little guy, Nathan couldn’t help but feel a twinge of surprise creeping in.
Most children at Liam’s age typically gravitated toward toys like Power Rangers and Transformers.
When did he develop such a keen interest in these high–tech marvels?
Nonetheless, recognizing children’s innate curiosity, Nathan saw no reason to stop him.
With the assistance of the staff, Liam was soon seated inside the model spaceship, donning VR glasses to immerse himself in the space experience.
The addition of 3D special effects and changes in environmental temperature heightened the realism, making Liam feel as though he was truly floating in space.
The sensation was akin to floating in space, with a weightless feeling in the legs. At the same time, the simulated textures and bumps of the planets added to the immersive experience, making it feel incredibly realistic.
After the exhilarating experience, Liam was still brimming with excitement, tugging on Nathan’s finger eagerly. “Daddy, when I grow up, if I have the chance, I must go to outer space to see if it’s really like this!”
A staff member approached them, beaming proudly. “Hello, young man! We interviewed astronauts and documented their real experiences. They were the first to test these simulations and reported that it’s almost 90% similar to the real thing!”
Liam’s eyes sparkled with excitement. “This is so interesting!” he exclaimed. He then made his way towards a robot on the side.
However, he couldn’t reach it even on tiptoes. Observing his adorable struggle, Nathan couldn’t help but smile and lift him up. “Do you want to play with this?”
“This is our latest development, Robot Azure, equipped with state–of–the–art technology. It can even detect human emotions and tailor its services accordingly,” the staff explained as they activated the robot.
With a couple of taps on the screen, a melodic female voice emanated from the robot, introducing itself, “Hello, I am Robot Azure. It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
