Chapter 52 What’s the Rush
On the way to the company, Olivia was lethargic and rubbed her temples from time to time.

Benjamin glanced at her through the rearview mirror and asked worriedly, “Ms. Olivia, are you feeling unwell?”
“It’s nothing, just a slight cold,” Olivia replied hoarsely.
Benjamin could not help but worry as he was aware of her health condition. “Do you want to head back to rest? I can handle the work.”
“It’s okay. I just want to take a look.”
Olivia took work seriously and had to personally make sure things were going well before she could relax.
The office’s location chosen by Lucas was one of the best choices. The interior was decorated with a modern, minimalistic, bright style that perfectly matched Olivia’s preferences.
A full–length window caught their eye as soon as they entered the place.
The view from the office was spectacular. It was situated on the twenty–sixth floor, where one could see the hustle and bustle of the roads below.
Seeing her satisfied expression, Benjamin spoke up, “Office supplies will be arriving in the next few days. The business licenses are also being processed, and the overseas team will be in place in a few days. The recruitment notices will also be posted soon, and we should be able to open for business as early as the start of next month.”
Olivia was grateful for Benjamin. “Your help has really eased my mind. I really appreciate your hard work during this period!”
Benjamin smiled, “Ms. Olivia, you’re too generous. These are part of my responsibility.”
Nodding, Olivia continued to inspect the venue. They began planning the areas where each department would be placed.
They continued working the whole morning.
During lunch, Olivia noticed that her cold had worsened. She had no appetite and looked listless.
She was planning to head home and rest, leaving the work to Benjamin. All of a sudden, Lucas called, “Olivia, are you free tonight? Come with me to a business banquet. Although the event will be boring, the people attending will all be influential figures. It’s a good opportunity to make connections and expand your network for the future.”
Olivia was taken aback but did not refuse.
Now that she was building up the company, she needed to establish her own network of relationships.
It was a rare opportunity for Lucas to offer help with connections, so she immediately agreed, “I’m free. Thank you so much, Mr. Martinez!”
“Alright, why be so polite with me? King has instructed me to take care of you, so how could I not offer this?” Lucas said, feeling a bit frustrated.
