Ellie said, “Mom, Oscar, wait for me here. I can’t find my car keys. I’ll go back to the ward and look for them.”
Ellie was standing in the parking lot in front of the hospital building with several bags. She couldn’t find her car keys.
Joanna said, “I’ve checked the ward. We didn’t leave anything behind. Did you put them in any of the bags?”
Joanna put her bags on the hood of the car and rummaged for the car keys.

Alex stared at Ellie and said calmly, “It’s almost noon. Don’t let your mom and son stand under the sunlight. I’ll drive you home first. You can come back and look for your car keys later.”
Ellie hesitated and walked toward Joanna. Joanna nodded and said, “Let’s go.”
“Give me all your stuff.” Seeing that Joanna had finally agreed to take his car, Alex hurriedly went over to take their belongings.
