“Valerie must be in the shower and didn’t hear us. Esteban, I’ll go in alone. Wait here for me.”

Margaret nodded slightly and pushed the door open.

From the handcrafted Italian sofa to the Bohemian rug, everything exuded opulence.
And all the clothes on that wall drove her crazy with jealousy.

“He said my current place, which is supposed to be your marital home, is too small.
“He thinks I should live here after we get married.
“So he asked me to come take a look.”
