“Il some people keep acting like this, they’ll lose their daughter–in–law,” Felicia remarked.
Timothy turned to look at Felicia, still appearing angry. “What do you know?”
Of course, Timothy was aware that Felicia was deliberately provoking him.

If his friend hadn’t seen it, he would have still thought Henry was serious about the arrangement.
Henry froze. What? Suzanne went out dancing?
He began to panic, hurriedly explaining, “Mr. Lloyd, you must have seen wrong. Our Suzanne is well–behaved and sensible. She would never go to such
an establishment.”
It wasn’t news to Henry that Frankie’s son was a playboy, yet Frankie still wanted a virtuous daughter–in–law.
Before Frankie could continue, Henry cut him off, decisively stating, “How about this–I’ll arrange for her to meet with you in two days. You’ll definitely be satisfied with the arrangement.”
At least he was confident that Suzanne’s beauty would be enough to impress. The only problem was her rebellious nature.
Frankle remained cold–faced, but his tone softened slightly. “If I don’t see her in three days, don’t even think about getting that land.”
